Camping and caravanning

The plots are located on the slope of a mountain looking over the La Tranquera reservoir. There are plots for caravans, campervans and shops, the ground is fine gravel, our climate is not good for grass, but there is abundant vegetation providing pleasant shade in summer. There are bathrooms with free hot water, a washing machine and a tumble dryer which work with coins.

Bungalows and accommodation

At Lago Resort we have wooden bungalows, apartments and mobile homes. This accommodation is distributed in different areas of the campsite based on their type and rural style, integrated with the natural environment where the campsite is located. Their price includes sheets and towels, and they have a heating system, television, dishes and kitchenware.

Stone Monastery

The nearby park of the Stone Monastery is like an oasis emerging from an arid, rocky setting. Here the Piedra river flows at different levels, the water falling from numerous waterfalls forming a landscape of great beauty.

All our campsites and rural accommodation locations are in unique natural environments. In this section we suggest the activities that you can carry out in the establishment itself and recommend a series of plans you shouldn’t miss out on during your stay with us.

Activities on the campsite and entertainment.

In addition to visiting the Stone Monastery, we can enjoy hiking around the campsite and in the Hoces del Mesa, where a wide variety of birds live, especially numerous groups of griffon vultures. Easy access to the La Tranquera reservoir allows kayaking routes with guides from the region. 15km away there are 5 spas in the towns near Jaraba and Alhama de Aragón.

Nuévalos

In Nuévalos we can visit the House of the Bishop, an Ancient 16th century palace, which is notable for its patio built on columns and its large staircase with lanterns. It currently contains the City Council.

Routes and Spas

15 kilometres away we find the town of Jaraba, known for its thermal water spas, but also the starting point for interesting routes which connect it with the nearby towns of Ibdes and Calmarza.

“Un camping tranquilo y familiar,bastante bien de precio,Ãºnica pega muy poca sombra.Respecto al restaurante muy muy lentos ,una hora y media de espera para cuatro bocadillos,que encima por ponerle un suplemento,te cobran 2â¬ por huevo,muy caro y dos lonchas de bacon en cada bocadillo.tengo que decir que un camarero ha intentado arreglarlo y ha sido educado y nos ha regalado a na racion.ese chico ,ha salvado nuestra situaciÃ³n”

“La ubicaciÃ³n es estupenda y el personal amable. Eso sÃ, mejorable el suelo de piedritas -donde se complica fijar piquetas (nota: llevarse martillo es recomendable) - y las instalaciones del baÃ±o (un poco anticuadas y descuidadas). La piscina mola, aunque el restaurante deja bastante que desear.”

“Leuke camping. Wij hebben gebruik gemaakt van appartement. Wel prijzig maar was prima. Gunstige ligging voor bezoek aan Monasterio de Piedra. Personeel in het restaurant leek ongeÃ¯nteresseerd, wel jammer.”
